My Rabbit and I have Amnesia (High H, 1v1) - Chapter 1
Lin Wanwan was sent abroad to study with Liang Mo’s support. Her apartment, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from school, was in close proximity to the renowned Zurich Academy of Arts.
Three months earlier, Liang Mo had arranged a private tutor to assist Lin Wanwan in enhancing her foreign language skills. The resourceful young woman not only aced the IELTS and TOEFL exams but also obtained her driver’s license.
Her secret to success? Lin Wanwan channeled her frustrations from three months ago into diligent study. Like a determined rabbit, the more challenges she faced, the harder she worked to overcome them.
The private tutor, who had previously studied in Switzerland, shared valuable insights into Swiss culture and life during her classes, helping Lin Wanwan adapt smoothly to her new surroundings.
Despite her youth and limited knowledge, Lin Wanwan found herself among peers with impressive qualifications and vast knowledge. To keep up, she had to put in a thousand times more effort than others.
Frequently burning the midnight oil, she often fell asleep with academic books in her arms. Lin Wanwan’s tireless day-and-night studying even led to noticeable weight loss due to her demanding schedule.
One night, while still buried in books and papers, Li Wanwan’s phone rang. It was her mother calling.
“Hey, Mom.”
“Nanny, how are you there? Getting used to Switzerland yet?”
“It’s not too bad, I guess.”
“What are you doing now?”
“I’m studying. How have you been doing at home recently Mom?”
“It’s okay. Nanny, you don’t have to worry about the family.” her mother reassured her. “It’s great that you’re working hard on your studies, but remember to take care of yourself and get enough rest. Don’t overwork yourself, alright?”
It was a typical advice a mother would always give, as the young lady has heard numerous times over the phone. But this time, it felt different.
As Lin Wanwan listened to the caring words on the other end of the phone, her eyes welled up with tears that soon streamed down her face. She let out a soft sob but quickly wiped away the tears with her hands, revealing a radiant smile.
“I understand, Mom. I’ve got it.”
The mother and daughter pair chatted for a while longer, and as the conversation ended, Li Wanwan picked up the book that she was reading earlier. She read for a bit, but as fatigue washed over, her eyelid grew heavy and she fell asleep.
The next day arrived.
A stunning pink convertible sports car pulled up outside Lin Wanwan’s apartment building.
Behind the wheel sat a woman sporting sunglasses, her luscious hair cascading down her shoulders. With delicate facial features and flawless, fair skin, she was a true beauty.
Stepping out of the car in high heels, she exuded confidence and rang the apartment doorbell.
Meanwhile, Lin Wanwan had fallen asleep at her desk. She jolted awake at the sound of the doorbell, hurried downstairs, and swung the door open.
“Sister Xiaomo!” Lin Wanwan’s eyes widened in awe at the sight of the beauty before her, and she rushed towards her.
“Hey, Wanwan~” Liang Mo warmly embraced the girl.
“Your mother mentioned you might be feeling down, so I came to check on you.” Liang Mo examined the girl in her arms, noting her slight frame.
“Have you been eating properly? Is the studying stress getting to you?”
“I’m fine.” The girl eagerly took Liang Mo’s hand and intended to lead her upstairs, a cute smile on her face. “Come in!”
“Wait, I’ve got something for you.” Liang Mo smiled gently, tugging the girl’s arm and guiding her outside. She gestured to the pink Porsche 911 by the door, and with a doting smile, she said “This is your school opening gift.”
“I wasn’t a car expert, so I picked this one randomly.” Liang Mo said, tongue in cheek. “Hope you like it sis!”
